Demystifying God

For me the Bible is an amazingly relevant "book".

I experience it as an invitation to explore, and re-discover what is timelessly present beyond the shifting surface mind.

To invest more sensitivity towards examining the beliefs and concepts I entertain, encounter and suffer since uncounted years!

My joy, interest and attention are not in religion, not in mental gymnastics, not in moral guidelines, peer pressure or in future hope.

Rather to unveil my immediate beliefs and identity, in the light of simple introspection: Truth is not a cluster of concepts.

…there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

Romans 14:14

For he that medleth with mens Religion in any part, medleth with their custome, nay, with their freehold; and though they finde no content in that which they have, yet they cannot abide to heare of altering.

Preface, King James Bible 1611

How to read scripture without getting entangled in religious doctrines? But instead to stay open and fresh, as if we read it the very first time!
